I have a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work and have been helping individuals and families for more than 20 years. I love my work - listening, connecting, offering insights, and guiding clients back to their own insights that they may too easily dismiss. I have an eclectic bag of tricks that I've learned along the way, blending solution-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness. But most importantly, I offer a space of acceptance, mutual respect, connection, and REALNESS. I will be in it with you, building on your unique strengths and bringing in spirituality, creativity, humor, and problem-solving. (Yes, we will laugh at times, I promise)
In addition to general therapy and relationship issues, I have worked at the Postpartum Counseling Center and Center for Infertility and Perinatal Loss for many years and have an expertise in working with pregnancy, miscarriage/pregnancy loss, infertility, and postpartum depression/anxiety issues.
